In Motion: Why the Best Brands Never Stand Still

When I started the company in 1994 in Atlanta, I had one goal. I wanted to assemble a team of like-minded creative people and make awesome stuff happen. We didn’t have a lot of marketing buzzwords surrounding what we were doing. Mostly, we were finding ourselves at tables making formerly mundane moments magical…for brands. Our efforts were collaborative from the start. Someone would throw a crazy idea out on the table. We would poke, push, and pull it around to see if it held up under brand messaging scrutiny. Then we would set to work figuring out how to make it happen. The question was never if. Always how. Those table meetings with brands are still my favorite part of the creative process here. They are part of our DNA. They are who we are, even if they’re rarely all ‘in person’ at the table, anymore!
No one knows brands better than they themselves do. No one knows how to get stuff done better than we do. Why wouldn’t we harness the collective greatness and build together? These interactions allowed us to grow and produce at levels I had never dreamed of. We found ourselves planning a Super Bowl victory party for the Dallas Cowboys, hosting 5000 Anheuser Busch VIP’s for three weeks during the Atlanta Olympics, planning the CEO 500 for Bill Gates in NYC. We grew to include Houston offices where we planned and executed their first Super Bowl Familiarization Tour for sponsoring NFL brands. We became part of the team creating the Maxim Super Bowl Parties. We started collaborating with ESPN, a sport media giant, on their VIP programs. We started producing at the first ever College Football Playoff, and now produce five of their signature events, including the Playoff Fan Central, for tens of thousands of fans.
The marketing buzzwords are everywhere now; “experiential” and “activation” and “storytelling," but they have always been woven intoeverything we do. It’s all really the same to us. We’re still doing the same thing we set out to do in 1994. We’re at the table with ideas and know-how and the greatest assembly of creative people in the business. The many years and events since that time haven’t changed the goal. They have however, grown the team and the name to Assembli Events and Productions, and changed the scope of the canvas, and the impact of what we’re able to create on it.
We invite you to come sit at the table and see what we can create together!
