The Challenge

An opportunity gap exists in overall awareness of the ACCN platform and driving fans to ACCN, so the focus was to create a deeper connection with ACC fans to increase brand awareness and brand love.

With ACC Huddle and ACC Huddle Tailgate traveling to ACC campuses, there was an opportunity to meet fans where they are and interact closely with them in their campus and gameday environment. The goal was to engage fans through on-site activations that increased exposure of ACCN through messaging that resonated with fans' interests, needs, and aspirations.

The Execution

Assembli was hired by ACC Network to brand and transport a vehicle to five cities during the 2023–2024 college football season for tailgate activations. The cities were identified on a short-term basis, and the vehicle was held in warehouse space in between uses to allow for flexibility and rapid deployment.

The vehicle functioned as an experiential tool, featuring a large built-in LED screen used for live programming and static content. A top deck and DJ were included to engage crowds at each game, creating an energetic and visible presence within each tailgate environment.

Assembli navigated all university and city permitting requirements, along with technical needs including satellite, power, safety, and staffing. During one weekend, ACC Network chose to activate in two cities simultaneously, and Assembli quickly turned around a second branded vehicle and management team to support concurrent activations without disruption.
